In Beerlight City

Read WAITING PERIOD, by Hubert Selby Jr. I usually love this guy's style, but I have to say that I wouldn't recommend this book. In my most humble opinion, he didn't choose the best way to narrate his story. I have nothing against stream of consciousness. THE SOUND AND THE FURY is one of my all-time favorite book. But I think it wasn't Selby's thing. He should have stuck to his usual 3rd person narration.
